c.d.'s to listen to. We have some Bill Cosby and some Hank the Cowdog. What would you recommend. We are a very clean-cut family so keep it clean, please. Thank you.

Pau de Lange: Not Bing Crosby, Bill Cosby, you know, they hysterically funny black comedian.

No,my teenagers are normal. They definitely have their own music. Pop and Rock. Fortunately for them, their mother appreciates their music, too.

I highly recommend books on CD. The Harry Potter books, read by Jim Dale, are especially good as they are popular with all ages. I have the whole series on CD and they are great for long trips. A lot of CDs are available from your local library, so you may consider seeing what they have and perhaps asking a librarian for suggestions based on your interests.

Another good book on CD:

Tyrannosaurus Sue: The Extraordinary Saga of the Largest, Most Fought over T-Rex Ever Found by Steve Fiffer, was an excellent book that combines archeology, law, and dinosaurs in an excellent story.

My family loves the music of the Beach boys, Led Zeppelin and the Beatles. My sons are 20 and 17. They are influenced by our choice of songs, somehow! Now we all love the same music.

I would recommend the whole family pick out a book on cd, and get into reading together. I went on a camping trip with four teens and I wanted to just injoy my own book and they insisted I read it to them each night around the campfire. We all enjoyed the book together.

Well, I'm too late to be original, except for my choice of book: My husband has "Lucky Man" by Michael J. Fox on cd, and it's great to drive to.

no offense but teenagers listening to Bing Crosby? are you serious? I think you need to get them both iPods and let them listen to their own music. You and your hubby can listen to Michael Buble, Carpenters, and maybe some Guy Lombardo XD

music is an outlet of the soul, the music you hear helps you release unwanted energy :D
