I don't think, so. As a mother, I feel that my first responsibility is toward my children. I don't think I would want to leave them, at their young age, without a mom. I think my life is more valuable to them than one more life is to my country.

The fight for our freedom is not a dress rehearsal; it takes place in a real world with real enemies and real dangers. In the struggle to protect our families and preserve our liberties, some men and women must pay the ultimate price. The United States of America owes its greatest debt to these heroes. YES! I would die for my country.

This is a very hard question to answer. If you are asking about Iraq, then no. But if you are referring to WWII, Civil War, Revolutionary War, etc. then yes. I would die to protect this countries rights for my children and their children if I believed in the cause and there was no other way but to fight.

I don't know. This is very good food for thought. Interesting question. I feel like a citizen of the entire world so i would hope i would sacrifice for anyone. Not terrorist cells or anything bad like that. But i do feel linked to everyone who lives.

You have given us all something to think about today. Thanks.

My country, no. I am against war, I would never go and kill in the name of my country because I think in this day and age there has to be a more peaceful and civilised alternative.
But if my country was invaded and I had to protect my child, I would kill if I had to under those circumstances.
