Are they trying to make you stop practicing your religion or are they upholding the constitution that says we can not inflict any specific religion on the people? Do you get your morals from the government or is it an individual thing as long as no laws are broken. How much do you want the government in your face? I don't SUPPORT gay marriage, abortion, etc. and in fact am Christian in my beliefs. You should think about your stance a lot more profoundly before you accuse and think what it would be like for the government to start stoning people in the streets for their behavior. Think about it real hard.

I can be Christan and vote for a Democrat becuase I see that the Republican leadership that we currentantly have feels after attacking a country unprovoked. They want to continue the course and stay there and kill innocent people.I don't see how that will play when George W meets God.The man is breaking this country for what? There is no border securtity here in the U.S. A man with TB snuck in just as easily as a terriosit could.Meanwhile we are doing the right thing over in Iraq by giving these people freedom.Never mind that they don't want it.We will have unmanned planes fly over and bomb areas.Anybody in that area can't be innocent. Our soliders raped and killed an Iraqi women then killed her whole family later on so nobody would tell.Real Christian like to you? Close to 10,000 Iraqi people were released from Abu Ghraib a month after the prisions practices came to light in the media. Were all these people terrorist? If yes then they should have been held.If like they say they were innocent and the U.S. were just rounding up all men then you intenioaly jailed innocent people.Real Christian like to you?Gay marriage ,abortion, prayer out of school, these are issues I agree with you are not very Christian like values.Takeing the lesser of 2 evils i will take a Democrat this next election. If Rudy is the Republican nominee your going to really have a choice. He is pro abortion.God Bless everyone of you weather you agree or disagree with me.

First, we are not a constitutionally a Christian nation. Many of the founding fathers were deists, not Christians. We also have separation of church and state, and allowing state sponsored prayer violates a person's right to practice religion freely. On abortion and gay marriage. there is certainly no consensus on the morality of these, and the U.S. is a free country where people should be free to live life as they see fit.

Dude,

Read your bible and stop listening to ideologues like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell (rest his soul).

We have something called a constitution that says that we are free to practice religion and we are free from religion. Listen to logic.

I am a liberal and I do not feel that gay marriage should even be an issue. The Republicans brought this issue out to 1. Hide their own gayness (remember Foley) and 2. Divert the American people from their preemptive attack on Iraq.

I, as well as most, reasonable people believe that no man should have any say over what a free woman does with her body. I am not for abortion, but I will not tell a woman what to do with her body. It is not mines and only God will judge her.

Prayer in school should not even be an issue. It is another diversion by the insecure petty self-righteous indignant right wing. We are free to practice whatever religion we want but not in the public.

Dude, Most Americans are Christian, but we are not a Christian nation. I am agnostic and I work, pay taxes and vote. I don't want narrow-minded, closet homosexual ideological Republicans telling me how to live my life. Most of them don't even read the bible. If they did they would know that Jesus wouldn't want people to as he said, " not pray in vain repetition, and make not public notice when they pray." "Pray in the closet".

READ YOUR BIBLE AND STOP LISTENING TO IDEOLOGUES WITH HIDDEN AGENDAS.

How do you sleep nights after voting for Bush? After seeing so many US soldiers killed and over 700,000 Iraqi that include women and children? How do you justify the river of blood that runs there. Furthermore, how do you know what I or any other Democrat support. Do I support the rights of a human being? Yes. God created all people as equal in his eyes. Who are you to deny people their rights as a human being? I don't think God is a Republican. If you don't plan on sleeping with a gay, why do you care if they marry or not? Live and let live. This nation is built on the very basis of religious freedom. It is NOT a Christian nation. Our forefathers sought to prevent your very type of logic by putting the powers of separation of church and state into the constitution. Teach your children to pray at home. Teach them that they can pray silently or softly anywhere and at anytime. You would be like the people that Jesus stopped from stoning someone. The Jesus that I know is of love. If he cannot lift someone up, then I surely don't think he would stomp them down. You practice your own religion as you see fit and please stop shoving it down the throats of everybody else. That makes you as bad as the Taliban. I am a Christian and I am also a Democrat and personally, I don't see how anyone could vote for a Republican. To me they are like the ones that Jesus talked about that pray too loud and seek to glorify themselves. They wallow in self-rightousness. God is a respecter of no person, including you Republicans. Try reading that bible a little instead of thumping it so much.

Politics as a whole is a secular issue. Hopefully with morals that align with your own . Their are moral people in politics on both sides of the aisle . What your definition of morality allows you to do is choose which tent you wish to stand under. Christians are best served by God not the politico , and are ultimately held to the leader Divine Providence sends them.

You mean the radical, false Zionist Christianity? I hope so. It's time the Government takes American back to genuine Christianity faith, not those hogwash Rev. Moon preachings and influences that Ronald Reagan and Nixon helped America to promote, and thriving with Moonie-backed funding!

Because you are not alone in this country, and their are more and more peoples that think different...
So the Democrat just notice such shift and decide to follow it, since the Republicans have gather so much religions with their ideas...
We also call this opposition, since Bush push on all those buttons, the Democrates MUST opposed it, as it will not be very wise to do otherwise. So all in all, religion is not of great concerns in politics, at some points at least.

Your right because you believe in something I have to believe in it too. There was another government that felt that, it was called the Nazi Party and they started something called world war 2. They killed six million Jews and no one is sure how many others. You vote the way you want, that's your right and I'll vote the way I want to. You go to your church and pray to your God, that's your right. I'll go to my church and pray to my God, that's my right. Don't think you have the right or the knowledge to spread your childes claptrap without drawing rebuttal.

They have turned their backs on anything of value and have corrupted the U.S. to the point it is hardly recognized as the Country it was 30 years ago.

The only thing they value are upshot, radical liberalism because that is where the votes come from. 'Political correctness' is their god.

Every area of our lives have deteriorated and it has seriously damaged too many childrens' lives.

They and too many of the Supreme Court Justices are in bed with the ACLU.
