Is there a way to TEMPORARILY have my computer break or crash that can then be fixed very easily by someone who knows computers? Or have some program not run properly. Anything that would require attention but can be fixed very easily

I forgot this pathetic detail, it's only to get my ex to my house. He's the one who will be fixing it

Ok I guess I should have been more specific. I want something thats " Non physical" meaning I don't want to have to open up my comp because i am computer illiterate and have no idea how to do that.

Why precicely would you WANT to do this ?

If you simply "break" the software a fix will be chargeable usually, or they simply wie all the data and restore a factory image.

If it's hardware and they decide it's damage, (believe me, we can tell when things are user damage) they will charge you.

Open it up, and pull something out of place, just to make it stop working.
Just note what you took out. Probly might wanna disconnect a ribbon. Or the mother board, pull everything out of it, so the entire thing wont work.

The Simplest way is to take out your laptops harddisk and say, that your harddisk is crached and was not detected by your laptop, so the laptop company has taken it for replacing and will take about 2 weeks as it is in the guarranty period.
