Comodo or Zone Alarm?

Some one recommend black ice, they had serious problems in the past with security flaws, that have been patched. Sygate is no longer in business, but you still can download the software for free. You will not get any support.
I use zone alarm free home for personal use over ten years and never had one problem. All new versions are downloaded automatic over the older version. Plus when necessary you will get daily updates on an automatic basis.
My own personal opinion, Zone Alarm, free home for personal use firewall is the way to go. http://www.zonealarm.com

I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from the following link. http://www.computeractive.co.uk/ On the home page select downloads and then the appropriate category.I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps.

Windows firewall is not as good as the rest, its a peice of use less junk misleading you into a state of false security.
Just like norton anti-virus.

I recconmend Comodo.Its one of not many firewalls that pass leak tests.
Sunbelt Kerio is a good one 2.

ZoneAlarm Pro = very good
ZoneAlarm Free = crap

Get zonealarm I have had it for two years now and has never let me down. Also zonealarm has a special game mode and it allows to to instantly stop all internet activity

Windows firewall is just as good as the rest,.
However i would recommend either:
