Republicans will still be in contention in most elections, thanks to their mastery of election fraud techniques. Hard evidence on this matter was hand delivered to House Judiciary Chairman, John Conyers on Friday. Whether this evidence will lead to the impeachment of Bush and Cheney remains to be seen.
Will have to see what comes out in the news next week, and thus far the news media has been effectively silenced by corporate America. Only one network reported on Monica Goodling's testimony in Congressional hearings, when she admitted that caging lists had been used during the last election to eliminate the ballots of black soldiers stationed in Iraq.
The possibility of Bush declaring Martial Law is a real possibility. He just granted himself exclusive executory power recently, and the provision has been posted on the White House website. With the recent government contract awarded to Halliburton for the emergency deployment of concentration camps in America, some equipped with gas chambers, dark days could lie ahead for this country.
The ugliest part of any mass internment and mass executions of Americans, as this country is transformed into a full blown fascist dictatorship under Bush, will be the Limbaugh "ditto heads" cheering on the streets as tens of thousands of Americans are being executed.

The Republicans are sick of Bush now that he's called them unpatriotic for opposing amnesty for illegal immigrants. They're also disgusted with their candidates in 2008 (so much so that the party bosses are trotting out actor Fred Thompson, who plays a conservative on TV, to try to win them back).
It appears that Republicans may go en masse to the Constitution Party in 2008, which would be the end of Neo-Conservatism.
In the short run, this is good news for the Democrats, but the Democrats stand for the same thing as the Republicans. The only difference is that Democrats want to give the stolen goods from the form of theft known as taxation to different special interest groups. The Democrats are pro-war (in Darfur), pro-wasteful spending (and they make no pretenses otherwise, unlike the GOP), and pro-illegal immigration. The Democrats don't offer a new direction for America and that will eventually be recognized by the American people.
The only way I could see either party saving itself in the near future is if they would nominate a candidate who supports real change, such as Mike Gravel (on the Democrat side) or Ron Paul (on the Republican side).
The American people weren't stupid enough to fall for the Neo-Con propaganda and they won't be stupid enough to believe the Democrats when they pretend that they haven't brought more of the same (for example, passing that war funding bill the other week). Soon we'll all realize that neither the Democrat or Republican gangs stand for the interests of the American people. The only question is whether we will realize this when it is too late and we're bankrupt or whether we will take steps now to prevent the impending collapse.

In June of 1995, after the republicans took over congress everyone was saying the same thing about Clinton, the dems would be out and a republican would take over in '96. Obviously that didn't happen. Why? Because the republican congress didn't do what they promised, they said they would do all these things, but it never happened, partially because Clinton vetoed alot, and not everyone was on the same page. That sounds very much like what we have now, the dems took over congress and made promises to stop the war and all this. While they stood their ground with the first vote, they gave in easily with the second vote. People are saying the dems gave in to Bush. If things like that keep happening over time people will hate what the dems have done and vote republican. Just like how everyone hated what the republicans did in '95-'96.

First off you need to remember the name FloriDAH.....
It had less to do with the machines and more to do with the people. Are all of Bushes people dead, no I don't think so, not any more then Clinton's people were dead when he had his little shooter pumping hostess filling on the interns. Yes there is going to be a change any idiot can see that by turning off cartoons and watching the news. Study history there have been many presidents that have screwed up and their party (both) has not died.

It just amazes me that while Clinton did a pretty good job as president, people were screaming about him and some girl. What about Bush and the mass murder for a country that will be this way till the end of time probably. So many lies.
Yet people are out there putting down the democrats yet. Bush has barked up the wrong tree, yet people support him. I just don't get it!

absolutely not. The last few elections have shown we are a 50-50 split country. The next presidential election will be the same.
The spin-meisters and propagandists for both sides have this down to a science these days, and they will make sure this continues.

No the Republican party is doing fine. We are actually moving back to our base. We thought that having someone in the white house who could broach the left and right would be good for the country. What we didn't figure on was that liberals don't give a **** about this country. They only care about power and entitlements.

I definately think their days are numbered. I'm counting the days!
I just hope the democrats don't choke like they have the last two elections. Bush should've never won in the first place. They out psyched the Dems and they'll do it again if they don't stay on top of them. They sure didn't win it on the issues.
