Can they rebound, even if they can't win the AL East?

Why are they losing? I don't get it!

They are having their worst stretch of the season right at the beginning. Right now they're operating like a car with its cylinders firing out of sequence; when there's been pitching, there hasn't been hitting and vice versa. Their pitching in general isn't terrible, but their middle relief isn't very good and Mariano Rivera has proven to be human after all. And to make matters seem even worse, the Red Sox have been unbelievably good, that will also change a little bit, although as you noted, probably not enough for the Yanks to catch them. Be patient, they'll be chasing the wild card at the end, they're too good to be out of it.

The only way the Yankees will win this division is if they get a new 1st basemen in which i hope is Mark Teixeira and a 5th starting pitcher incase Tyler Clipard can't get the job done.

Of course they can rebound and they probably will. It's a long season and they have a very good chance to win a wild card spot or even the division, the season is still very young.

Their bull pen has not been pitching well at all and has cost them a lot of games this year.

They are on a 2 game winning streak and could be turning this around in Boston if they can win 2 or all 3 games this weekend.

So far their biggest problem is pitching. They have a team ERA of 4.63. They are 23-29. They can rebound but they need to improve their pitching immediately if they want to go to the post-season.

Its because pitchers are scared to play almost all of them are injured like Darell Rasner got hit in the hand by a ball and broke his finger.

problem with the Yankees is that they are not a team, they are players (superstars) who play together... I mean its like having a team full of Kobe's and TO and Moss on the same team... they are good but they would not get alone and play up to their potential, that's why the Yankees are losing, they don't play as a team...

pitching is the weakness, including starting staff and most importantly their bullpen. they got offense to score pile of runs and power, but pitching is 70% of the game. look around Yankees...you see lot of old players too. they need to get young and younger.
