This is a little tougher than your DC question because Marvel has so many more characters to choose from...
I think Dr. Strange would be very interesting to play and certainly among the most fun (yet dangerous). Like DC's Martian Manhunter, Dr. Strange also has a great deal of powers to choose from. Astral Projection, Mind-control, long-life (immortality?), telepathy, hypnotism, telekinesis, teleportation (including other dimensions and time), protective shields, ability to see through any deception, flight, and many more.
With so many powers at his disposal, Dr. Strange is nearly god-like and to quote Spidey... "with great power comes great responsibility". This is certainly the case with Strange who walks both among the living and the dead... and holds the answer to many of the universes burning questions (at least in comicdom).
