Simple question - Do you think the Democrat and Republican parties represent and do the will of the people? I'm taking a poll for a research project, so a YES or NO will suffice.
*Please refrain from the bashing one or the other or ranting and raving. I only need a YES or NO answer. Anything else will show you're an extremist for whatever party you support...that and the inability to follow the simplest of instructions.
Thank you.

Yes or no will not cover the question, is this a class in marketing spin? Ask the question the right way and you will get the answer you want?
The parties represent their members, they get people elected for the members.
Your question is naive at best and would be better phrased as "Do you believe Republicans in congress represent you? Do you believe Democrats in congress represent you?
Yes the repubs sort of represent me
No the dems do not represent anyone but socialism

we are each and each our very own celebration if we hardship to think of somewhat of hear to the speaking heads on television. certainly, it is no longer correct that there is not any celebration to signify your perspectives. you're a human and you do no longer certainly desire the different memberships to be known. Vote your perspectives and settle for the burden of studying the applicants extra proper than people who stick to the celebration line out of laziness or close-mindedness. I doubt I believe you on advertising the Bible in government. To me it is like attempting to solder with a wrench. The State does no longer have the main appropriate a thank you to win hearts and minds, and commonly makes a large number (take a glance at Iran, Afghanistan decrease than the Taliban, and so on.) and that's the accountability of believers and ministers to tutor. If human beings nonetheless insist on sinning, then it stands between them and God. For those regulations mandatory to maintain order, we reluctantly renounce our own authority to the State, yet legislating morality to me is a huge mistake which we glance to repeat for ever and ever. yet even nevertheless i do no longer agree, i visit shelter your good on your perspectives. that's what all of us needs to do. Tolerance is the foundation of civilized society.

Neither party reflects the will of the people. We have not had a government that actually cared about the people since just after WW2. After that, the government was only concerned about the government, and to hell with the people.

No,both parties have shown many times that their motive of being in politics is solely for their own interests,be it monetary or power, and I agree with you on not bashing one party and elevating the other, that only proves the loyalty to the party and fail to see what's wrong with it

Its always been a question of the lesser of two evils. Government at best is a necessary evil. Read John Locke, and Cesare Beccaria. This is due (I think) to the fact that any entity will tend to promote itself, and in the case of government, this can occur at the expense of freedom.

The Democratic Party represents the will of MoveOn.org, and George Soros. Who the Republicans represent is still up in the air.
