The sun will in five billion years turn into a supernova and subsequently explode, possibly even taking Earth with it. And if it fails to do so, the end of the universe - which, depending on whether the expansion or gravitation wins, could be either a big "crunch" (all matter collapsing into one location), a stable equilibrium (wherein black holes would most likely suck up most matter, or protons would "evaporate") or a big "rip" (where space itself is ripped apart from the ever-increasing expansion).

In short: yes.

Yes. But it will be a very long time before it does. First humans will die off. If we don't change the way we are doing things now, we are gonna die sooner or later. When the sun dies, which won't be for another couple million years, plants are gonna die and and all the animals.
Natural Resources will probably go before that. Coal is being used up quickly, and imo, I think we need to start used electric and deisel cars ALL the time, and saved coal for when the deisel factories have malfunctions or shut down. Most natural resources can't be recycled, so we need to stop using them all up.
Anyway, the earth IS gonna die.

I would say it is only a matter of time until the world cannot support the world's population or some environmental event will occur that will make earth unlivable for humans.
