If you are in Manila go to Raon in Quiapo.Thats just beside the Quiapo church. All electronic techies are there.Just bring a streetsmart friend with you.All fees and parts prices are negotiable.good luck.

I understand your question and why you ask it. Most folks in the U.S. will tell you to replace because the cost of repair will be higher than the cost to buy new. In the P.R., that is not true.

Any place or person that repairs TV sets should be able to repair your VCD player for you. Good Luck!

Krystlle, I understand how you feel and if its a major brand there are many repair places that can make it like new again, but find out what a new one cost first and if the repair exceeds the cost of new, then buy the new and put the other in the box the new came in and then you will always have it to remember the one that gave it to you. I wish you the best of luck,
Bill

You can always keep your VCD player, and buy a new one that works.
