My mom buys these HUGE shirts for me, and won't let me get a smaller size?

I used to have shirts that fit me, but now, my mom is buys me shirts that are just baggy on me. I try to tell her that they are too big, and she is like " I think it looks good" and she won't let me buy a different size. She says guys don't respect people who wear tight things. My dad has been gone on buissness for a few monthes and will be back end of July. He thought my mom and I should comprimise(sorry about the spelling) on clothes, and we did until he left. Now mom just buys me whatever and won't listen to me if I say they are too big, which they are. When I try to talk to her, just start saying something, she heads me off right away, interupting me and getting all defensive, instead of maturly tyring to make so we are both happy. Or she just walk away when I am talking. I don'y know how to handle this. I can't wear baggy shirts all through summer. PLEASE help me! Even if you don't know what to do about my mom, could you tell me how to wear baggy shirts so they look cute? PLEASE!

i cant help you with your mom but when ever my shirts are to small i take saftey pins ,gather fabric in the back and pin it from the inside......plus whashing them alot if there cotton will make them shrink! I really hope this helps!!! good luck

oh you precious thing! i do not know what to tell you about your mom and wearing those baggy things in different ways is going to be frustrating for you. do you have like a best friend to help you out? mayby she could come over with some of her clothes and show your mom that they are not so bad really. i would definately like to see what your dad has to say about this call your dad too, dont get your mom into trouble or you will suffer just see what he says. other than that i feel you will have to wait for your dad to get home if you think he is more of the one you can confide in. good luck~

I would talk to your dad about it. Ask him 2 tell ur mom about it. If that doesn't work, come 2 ur mom at a time were she's relaxed (like in the evening, or during supper). Explain to your mother that u would like to wear shrits that fit more. Say that they don't have 2 be tight, just clothes that actually fit. Ask if you can go on a shopping trip w/ur mom and look for clothes that fit.

Well about your mom, I don't know what to tell you. But as for the baggy shirts, roll up the sleeves so they're shorter, pull the extra fabric up and tie it with a ponytail holder, then wear a cute tantop underneath the shirt so it shows! That will look a lot cuter!

keep trying to talk to your mom, you should be able to wear the style that you want to.....well i would roll up the sleeves on the shirts and tye them back with a rubber band or a hair scrunchie so from the front of your body the shirt looks tight.....i personally think that baggy shirts SOMETIMES looks really cute to work out in...so you may not have to do anything there
remind your mom that your dad told you two to COMPROMISE on clothing idems...and she is not doing that
