Yeah and when they stare blankly at me I say "I guess you had to be there." It's no good if you have to explain it, right?

Ha ha! Yeah! In real life, the people who know me expect me to be saying funny stuff a lot of the time, so they almost always "get it" - or sometimes say "Whaaaaat??" if they don't.
People who don't know me sometimes just give me funny looks, as if they're thinking, "I wonder if he's dangerous?"
On P&S, most folks get it, but I try to be careful in other sections.
And sometimes I think I'd like to get it a little more myself! ;-)

Constantly. It just goes over their heads. Like, a few days ago I asked a question if someone could remind me to get some ginkgo biloba because I keep forgetting it. Very few people got it.
Or, a few months ago I asked if anyone knew where I could find some camouflage pants because I could never see any. Get it?

Its so embarrassing because its followed by this awkward horrible silence and maybe a giggle or pretend laugh...but yeah... but i like to think its becuase me jokes are too witty for most people...its better to think thier not smart enough to get them than to think im not funny. lol
