Such at tough question because of so much to choose from.... Pink Floyd, Sabbath, Metallica, Alice in Chains, Nirvana...off the top of my head, a wicked album all the way through is "Lateralus" by Tool.

Yes I agree with your choice. O don't think that he has done anything that has been as good as that and as groundbreaking since. My second best album would be the one that Tracy Chapman had out around the same time.

but
thriller by michael jackson is it. back before he lost his mind. 9 great tracks, 7 went to the top 10. great beats, great singing. it sold almost 50 million copies worldwide.
