Feeling uncomfortable with people is the worst feeling in the world, and while most people try to fade to the background and not talk or do much I'm really outgoing so if I try to find someone there that looks uncomfortable and talk to them

Talk too much. If I can, I'll choose an adult beverage and hopefully find a distraction. If I am in a confrontational mood, I'll just stare at them and make them feel uncomfortable and wait until they say something stupid and I'll pounce in a passive agressive way like making fun of them or what they have saID.

If the discomfort comes from the person's being obnoxious or annoying or boring, I simply remove myself, even if it means getting up and leaving. (Sometimes, I acutally tell/ask them something, like "Where the fk did you get that notion?" uh, or "Excuse me, and I hate to break the news, but those statistics you just quoted are, uh, shall we say, not even CLOSE!) (Then I become the obnoxious person, and that's one way of dealing with discomfort, hmmmmm.)
If the discomfort comes from feeling intimidated, I see what I can learn from this person and I try to relax, get humble and go with the flow.

I just be myself and if the uncomfortable feeling doesn't go away then I just avoid them.

Wear your I-Pod and pretend youre not interested. If its in some place where you cant listen to your own music, then play some games on your I-Pod or if you have a cellphone, on it.

i just leave why bother stay right? it would be a waste of time knowing that i'm not comfortable around them.
