more powerful ? >>> in arm wrestling ? Well, make a competition ;-)
more rich ? I doubt it ,there are more people in Red States on welfare.
more militant ? which means more violent , yes maybe, but for sure no reason to be proud of . It is a reason to be ashamed, because violence is just the prove of being incompetent .

It's a self-selection process. People who have built their lives themselves and are self-reliant tend to become Republicans because they believe in individual freedom and personal responsibility. People who are dependent on others tend to be more likely to vote Democrat, because Democrats tend to support programs that subsidize dependency. If you're planning to be weak, the Democratic agenda looks more appealing. If you're planning to support yourself, the Republican plan makes more sense.
That said, the Bush league Republicans have done a good job of disappointing that base of support. I'm not convinced that they have much of a chance to win the next election. It's time to take responsibility for themselves and remake their party.

Republicans tend to believe in self reliance, hard work and less government which means that they don't wait for help and hand outs but contribute to their own fortunes. As conservatives, we also belive in traditional values and that America is still "the shining city on the hill" that protects our freedoms and should be an example for the rest of the world.
I live in Texas and have Rep and Dem friends and family. We love to debate and discuss, yet I have never killed or beaten anyone.

Is your last name Hitler.
I think you just lost both houses, and are going to lose the white house shortly as well!
I think you are not correct when you say Republicans are more rich. I don't believe that is the case:
Despite these shifts, affluent voters remain more Republican than low-income voters. In the data Pew collected in the first quarter of 2007, Democrats have a nearly three-to-one identification advantage (48% vs. 18% Republican) among voters earning $20,000 or less, an advantage that shrinks as income increases. Among voters earning between $40,000 and $100,000 neither party has a clear advantage, while Republicans have a 34% to 27% identification edge among those in the $100-$150,000 household income range. But at the very top -- among the 7% of voters with household incomes of $150,000 or more -- Democrats once again run even (33% Democrat vs. 31% Republican).
So you are not among the richest, though I would agree you are among the countries larges welfare recepients who try and circumvent the voters with money!
I am unhappy that people have to get on here and threaten others.
The pathetic ones are your ilk that hate everyone, which we do not (and you call us unhappy), and only vote your pocketbook! Sad that America has people who live in it that care only of themselves, and forget all of those who got them where they are.
An old saying is be careful of those you step on as yyou will be seeing them on the way back down.
And if you are going to make statements, at least back them up. In your case, you can't!
And you Neocon "Christians"!
To the poor he said, "Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God," (Luke's version). To the rich he said, "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth," and "go, sell what you have, and give to the poor." When the rich turned away from him because they couldn't follow his command he observed, "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
For Jesus, helping the poor and the outcast is not optional: it is the essence of what it means to love God. In the parable of the last judgement he welcomes the righteous into heaven saying, "I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me." When the righteous answered that they didn't recall doing any of these things, he said, "as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me."

Clearly, Republicans are not more powerful. If they were, they would have won in '06. Also, I live in the south and make fun of ignorance all of the time, which typically comes from Republicans. For example, your idiotic straw-man argument fails to take truth into consideration. Most liberals are not afraid to use force against enemies. Many liberals are very rich (and hire rednecks like you to clean their septic tanks). Thanks for the 2 points!

Republicans are like the corner loudmouth that the more he talks, the louder he gets and the more right his arguement. If he cannot dazzle you with brilliance, he will outshout you. I am from the south and trust me, lots of people dislike the Republicans. On the whole, Dems are usually better educated and more intelligent than the Republicans. Uno, they are on the way down thanks to the corruption of your lovely president and his administration. I would rather be broke for all my life than to make money on the blood of an American soldier. You sound like the type of person that lives in a two story mobile home....uno ...for people with MONEY........

LOL!! Leave it to a con with no brain to make a statement like that. There are more Democrats than Republicans in the country. But you do make a good point that it may be dangerous to make fun of stupid vicious animals, of course, most of the time conservatives are way too stupid to realized they are being made fun of.

It's all in you mind patriot. Republicans do however never cease to amaze me with their ability to shed reality and insert one of their own for whatever the need may be. The united states is mostly democrats, not republicans. Most of us already know about their affinity for money and keeping it for themselves and not wanting to help others. More powerful? How about a more concerted effort to attain their agendas, which generally includes screwing the people who voted them into office, like our compassionate conservative of a President. How's our debt doing under this conservative President? Our borders? Our jobs? You people kill me, the more you get screwed, the louder you squeal.
