Yes, but, it takes some searching around. You may have to search specific News Stations; ABC, CNN, FOX etc. and look for their "Archives" or "Archives 1970-1979" or the specific year.
In my search, I typed;
news archives 1970-1979

I wanted to add. A while back someone on here ask about an Alligator attack in Florida back in the 70's.
This gave me a more specific search criteria; I knew I was looking for an Alligator Attack, it happened in Florida, and I had the specific year. Using various wording of this I found a Newspaper Archive about the incident and a picture of the Alligator.
So, if, a person knows more of the type news they looking for, they can make for a more specific search and find the information easier.

if you looked hard enough ou could or just try youtube..or photobucket...it really depends on what state to look it up in..
