well if i had to do it all over again I would still pick Bricklaying because I like building stuff with my hands and it a physically demanding job(separates the men from the ladies).

I happen to be involved in many, and that has been a life long process. I have chosen not to involve too deeply into some, for personal reasons. Those being Serious code Plumbing and Electrical work,,, both very valid trades.
I also do not engage in any heavy duty roofing. Your question may be rhetorical? Or a poll, or a way to judge areas you're considering??? I'm a GC, and CAN do most everything, but my sense and preference allows that I don't Have to.

It seems like I've done them all at one point or another.(jack or all master of bla bla bla...) It depends on what want and like. Carpentry is the most fun, electrical is the most rewarding, plumbing is frustrating but pays well. I am near the end of my work life but if I had it to do over I would go into HVAC or electrical with a solar specialty

I have tried a few but prefer installing tile It can be ruff at times but the satisfaction at a finished job is rewarding.I also enjoy the jigsaw puzzle aspect of doing inlays and patterns and counters and showers.
