Here's how I think this would go down: Austin would open up a can of whoop azz on Hogan but then Hogan would Hulk up and get in some punches of his own. Then he'd nail Austin with a boot to the face and hit the hogan leg drop and get the victory. You're dead on though about this being a dream match as both Hogan and Austin don't seem to wanna get together and do it. Hogan won't do it unless he gets paid enough and Austin won't do it unless he can win the match. It would be a helluva match though.

This question is more political than it is about who would win, really. It's more about "Who was the REAL biggest star ever?"
The fact is, Hogan would win because, assuming eddies in the space time continuum, Hogan had more say over his matches than any other wrestler in existence. He would not "job" out to Austin.
The ending would probably end up as a compromise. Hogan would win not on a leg drop, but on a fluke roll up after a ref bump.
Austin would then jump up, pretend to be a good sport, offer Hulk a beer... and then stun him!

Stone cold steve austin would totally take hulk hogan. There is no question about it. And when hulk is laying on the mat passed out.....stone cold should take a beer can and smash it hulk's forehead to show who is boss!

Hogan wouldn't job to Austin and Austin would never job to Hogan, as the two pretty much despise each other. So the match would never happen. Anyway, Austin saved what Hogan nearly destroyed- professional wrestling. Austin>>>>>>Hogan.

Probably Hogan, oddly enough Hogans in better shape to wrestle then Austin. But Austin is the hands on favorite.

wow thats a great match but id say id be stonecold
the end of the match: hulk is going for the atomic leg drop buit stone cold moves just in time gets to his feet and stunners hulk for the 3 conut 1...2...3...
