Yes, I remember Troy O'Leary. I cry whenever Wily Mo comes up to bat these days.

O'Leary turned out to be a pretty good acquisition for the Red Sox. Dan Duquette was at the stage of his career where he was signing virtually everyone he could, hoping someone could pan out. O'Leary had about three pretty good years, with not much before and after. Baseballreference.com compares him to Mel Hall, which is about right.
Darren Bragg cost the Red Sox Jamie Moyer, who is still pitching. Boston would like that one back. Lewis was a decent backup center fielder with some speed, but no power.

Good old Troy O'Leary....they had some pretty decent teams back then with Nomar and Mo....personally I liked John Valentin back in those days.

Yes i remember him. He was a solid hitter hitting around .280. I think he even might of played for Miluakee before the Red Sox. Then all of a sudden he dissapeared and went to the Expos and then i think he retired. But he was good, not as good as Manny, but he was good.
