first of all, if you are making a slogan, you need to include some sort of explaination as to why you chose the particular statement. this is where i help you...
now, gandhi had made many simple but effective changes to the way India operated. he was a man who believed not in violence, but peace for all humankind. basically, his efforts for a better Indian environment would be a good point to bring up.
i cannot help but feel that if he were alive today, he would be proud of India's advancement in Information Technology. But he would frown upon the Indian environment and how we present our country to the world. On the one hand, he would be proud of Mumbai's lush gardens and bird parks, but on the other, he would not have for one moment let people live in street corners and slums in the southern parts of India.
He would be proud and he would be anguished at the state of the nation that he had once left people in charge of.
India would have prospered into a country where people are treated with equality, and there are no discriminations. I believe that Gandhi would have been proud, basically, of the country that he had seen rise above everyone else and not be arrogant and demanding, but instead be a peaceful nation that has not been in any sort of warfare whatsoever, and has spread Gandhi's own message of peace and equality justly.
i hope this has helped you understand the meaning of what you're writing a slogan on. the rest is up to you, basically!
thanks for asking the question
