In present time, many couples are seen to be in a live in relationship. These are not necesarily the unmarried persons. There are people who are husbands or wives of somebody else and are living with another partner in a live in relation. They do this by leaving their spouses and children.
They may not bother whether the spouse is earning or not, whether the children are looked after or not and so on.
The live in relation does not have a legal sanction as marriage, but many societies do not object or hesitate in keeping good relations with those who are in live in relations.
It is the social attitude that gives people courage to openly get into a relation where they live together without caring for legal sanction.
Do you not think that this social scilence amounting to social sanction is digging the roots of family system in the world?

Today's society is so materialistic that no one bothers about his/her neighbor who he or she is or living with, whether they are married couples or live in relationship couple, I say so even for country like India where the institution of marriage is still very strong & well recognized in the society. Let me openly tell all the people of India that there are so many people who call themselves married but they neither went through any legal marriage ceremonies between themselves & even if they had gone through certain marriage ceremonies they actually are not legally married due to lack of certain necessary marriage ceremonies with were not preformed between then & even it had been preformed these were not applicable to them as they were not covered by these ceremonies because of their religious beliefs or customs . All these facts remain in cover till any of then openly come out & challenge their marriage or their marriage is challenged by someone else in the court. How many of the people who got married are really, legally married? The presumption of continues stay with each other no doubt is recognized to be married but its only a presumption not actual legal marriage if it is in question then the court would like to see the evidence of such marriage ceremonies, as well see if such marriage ceremonies were legal for both the parties hence to bind them as legally wedded couple. Now coming to the question that there are certain couples who are in living in relationship with each other & many who left their actual legal spouse & children for this new partner, I agree it is both legally & morally wrong, but here the question is who can take any legal action against them it only the legally married spouse for dissolution of such a marriage, or for cruelty under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code or under the provisions of Domestic Violence Act, 2005 if the suffering spouse is a wife. As far taking any action against them by any other person of the society is concerned there exists no such provision to check such a social evil if you call it. Definitely is wrong to keep silence to such happening but who has so much time for all this social service, may be certain women welfare organizations in India. As far digging the family system is concerned well such people hardly bother about their individual families thus they indulge in all such activities otherwise what was wrong with their legal spouse & children? So it’s changing social attitude that such activities have become part of our life, for no stopping now for it.

According to the bible we are suppose to be married and alot of churches look down on ppl. living together. I think it is okay to live together because some ppl. do not want to be married. I think that living together can be better than being married . It is better I beleive for the family system in some circumstances. I do not think ppl. should look down on others about this because it is the way of the world these days.
