Just talk as if she was in front of you, if you get a chill up you left hand side of your body, that is her confirming that she is with you.
Sometimes they communicate through dreams
Sometimes it can be just a memory from the past they want to share with you, a good memory they just don't want you to forget
It is just what ever frequency they are able to connect with you on .
Try doing some work on your "Throat Chakra is about communication" and "Third Eye that is to see" meditation is a good way also : )

I don't know how you can do that or even if it would be real or just imagination. But whatever you decide do not ever pay anyone to contact her for you. There are far too many people willing to take your money and make up a story. Try putting her picture on your dresser in your bedroom and place some flowers beside it. When you are worried and upset about something you can go and talk to her quietly by yourself. If you talk from your heart you will hear her in your heart. It is your 'feelings' that will count. Love has no borders.

People that have passed can contact you easier than it is for you to contact them. Sometimes they leave coins lay around for you to find so you know they are there. Sometimes they leave their scent, like perfume, or you can tell it was them just by their presence if they are near you. They even sometimes will turn lights on and off, or even the TV. I have had my parents contact me in my dreams as well. They will come to you in your dreams and it will seem very real, and it is a wonderful experience.

There is a part of your grandma which is still alive in your mind, in your soul.
That part is bigger or smaller depending on how much you loved her. With THAT part you can communicate.
