Before changing it's name in the 1950's the UN was know as the Island of unwanted politicians. The UN Secretary General job is to manage this organization without upsetting any ones feelings and to make sure that the US taxpayer never has to much money in the pocket. It is a place where unwanted dictators, educated do gooder's who can not find a real job, and unemployed politician fro around the world can get Diplomatic Immunity, tax free status, and a pay check and expense account without burdening their own citizens. And the best part is you do not even have to get elected to become a member.

Spokesperson... Nevertheless he has more power than this, he can actually according to the charter (human rights per example) state that democracy must rule all over the world; thus going against many member countries like China, Russia, Iran, Cuba or Vietnam which are obviously not democratic!

The UN seeks democracy, peace, prosperity so they have a lot on their hands... The SecGen needs to make sure the UN is not forgotten and is ready to get involved before conflicts erupt.
