i have a cat palm that is planted in a pot with no drainage holes,should it have drainage holes?

Yes, all planting containers should have drainage holes. Results of no drainage will cause the roots to rot, plant will die, unless the plant is an aquatic (water growing) plant like cyperus and junko.

yes any palm variety need good drainage
