Back when I was innocently young at about the age of 10, I found one and I took all the trouble to bring it to the principle and miss my bus. Then the next day, the principle announce over the speaker to all the classes to find out who found the wallet. A few of my classmate knew it was me and started making a commotion. The teacher force me to go meet the scary Prefect Master. I did not felt great been praised as at the end I become centre of focus and students started disturbing me in many ways. Now grown up as a man, if I saw a wallet on the floor... I will look at it, ... smile ... and walk away. Some time been good is not a good thing. Neither is it good to be bad. However, if I return the same way and still saw that wallet, okay, IT'S MINE!!!! Sigh...

See if the person is listed with 411 or in the phone book, and give them a call. If no phone number, I Google them. I found 2 wallets when I lived in california and met the people to give them back. Never accepted anything but thanks for their safe return, either.

Honestly, I would call the person and meet him/her and return the wallet without expecting any reward. But I need to make sure that that person is the rightful owner.

I would look up the name of the person in the wallet and call them or let the police know that I've found it.

I'll give it back but I would be exspecting a lil out of it for finding it, honestly there was this old woman who lost her purse at the store down the streat and she had like $800 in it and my mom found it and brought it in so when she realize she left it she could come back and get it, that woman only gave her $1 I can see maybe $5 or $10 but she gave her only a $1, if I had $800 and somone found it I'll give them like $20 or $30

I have never found a wallet with or without money in it. But, if I did, I take it to the
police station immediately. I would hope someone would do that for me.
