Consumers can file class action lawsuits when a mass produced product is defective. For personal services an individual can file suit for breach of contract, malpractice, or take complaints to Regulatory Boards which oversee the activities of the industry-the Insurance Commission, Stock Exchange, Medical Board. Elect to government Representatives that will not overlook the unethical business practices of rich corporations. At the very least-word of mouth-tell people about products and services that were flawed or inadequate.

consumers can protect their rights by taking a matter to the consumer forum where their problem is looked into & they are given assistance at once. consumer rights are basically those rights that consumers enjoy while purchasing goods from the store....like for instance if they have a query about a particular good they bought from the market or if they were not given a proper bill of payment on purchasing the item, then they can approach the forum if they think that the producers of those items are not assisting them or not giving them their due rights
