When you discuss something you are trying to understand, or make somebody understand the issue better. When you argue you are trying to convert the person to your point of view by condemning their own.

Umh,yes.If you are discussing your heart is more open.If you are arguing your heart is more closed.Yes,that sounds like that would be the difference.

argueing is more of opposing a topic while discussing is responsible way of letting your ideas be heard

arguing is when you say things to hurt but discussing is when you say things that might hurt but help

arguing is done usually with shouting!!!
