I'm 39, and I still love all types of music, still buy music, go to gigs etc. But I just feel underneath all the hype; all music comes from these genre's, and personaly I seem to want the basics of each. I suppose the roots of them.

I've loved classical and jazz since I was very young. I don't think I'll ever fall out of love with it but I find myself liking a lot of contemporary stuff nowadays. I like to keep an open mind and not automatically dismiss any particular genre of music ..... except perhaps C&W!

I am 29 years old. I still love the hip-hop and pop music. I am sure when I get older it will start sounding worse to me. One day, I found myself actually listening to the jazz station here. I got tired of hearing the same 10 songs over and over.

I don't agree because I am nearly 40 and like pop and rock music still. I love alot of the music that is around today. I guess it helps that I have teenagers so I hear music all the time.

Yep as we get older our tastes change in all things, jazz or country and western just do not appeal to me at the moment, but who knows, one day perhaps, maybe but usually what i like listening to depends pretty much on what i am doing at the time, whether the sun is shining or i have just eaten chocolate and whether i have just tripped over next doors cat.....anyway boogie down whatever your into..all the best..

Yes and no, I am nearly 47 and have recently bought Carla Bruin`s album and love to listen to music in general but i think that people in general tend to favour the music they grew up with in their teens, age does seam to allow one to appreciate the wider spectrum of music but I am still a lover of ELO Beatles Stones etc

I agree I am 25 and have a profound love for big band jazz, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Billie Holiday. When I listen to them I feel creative, happy, and in love with life...

All i can think of is when you are younger You dint like what your mum dad liked. IE not cool. So you liked what ever your friends like etc.But as you get older you learn to be your shelf more. And you mix more with different people like in work.So you grow up.X Cindy
