is it ok to touch my discharge to check if its slimy?/?

Yes it is ok to touch your vaginal discharge to see if it is slimy and yes it is slimy to the touch. Slimy as in wet most of the time. Depending on where you are in your cycle it can feel thick kind of like how some creams might feel.
