A REALITY television show in the Netherlands which a supposedly dying woman had to pick one of three contestants to receive one of her kidneys has been revealed as an elaborate hoax.
I don't care if they wanted to make 'aware' of organs donors (or shortage of) or what - I think this is MAD !

Yes the donor was an actor.
The contestants were also part of the deception, although all three are genuine kidney patients.

heard about it on the news and I really thought it was disgusting. The nerve of exploiting those poor people who really need that transplant and that actress!!! dont even get me started on her, some people have no morals or RESPECT!!!!

I agree with Patrick E. Bring back the family sitcoms. That is going way too far. Its like a slap in the face to all the people that need kidneys in world. Totally cruel.

television shows alot of time experiment with shows, more people sometimes go see horror movies than comedies, and than sometimes they go see comedies more than horror movies, i agree that it was a real bad idea for a show. but in other ways it makes certain awareness to the subject. just like i think it was in new york maybe where they had a exhibition where they had real organs of cancer patients and ones that where clean of cancer to make people aware of smoking kills.

The contestants were all in on it...they were paid actors. I think it's better this way that it was not real, because when I thought it was real I would say that was going too far ..
