It means that people are responding to a cause
a lot of noise is being made
may have a great theme - like the FAIR TAX !
let's get rid of the I R S and make April 15 just another spring day
keep all the taxes in your check!
and when you join us - you will 'Jump on the Band Wagon!"
and support HR 25 and S25 - now before Congress
and we will reduce 66,000 pages of tax code to 136!!!!!
so easy and transparent it can be described on a 3x5 card
and on my $26 k salary - It would mean 28% MORE in take home pay including the prebate!
nice bandwagon!

The phrase "Jump/climb on the bandwagon" means to start doing something because other people are doing it.

For example, your hometown team finally starts winning, after being mediocre. They are getting alot of attention for it, so people will then start "jumping on the bandwagon"
People start going to the games and/or talk about them, like as if they had always paid attention.
I hope this helps you!
