Mrs Beli's links are really good, especially the Cyberpower one. The downfall of most laptops for gaming is usually the video (Integrated Intel chipsets - worthless for gaming) but those GeForce Go 7600 models will perform nicely. I'd recommend either the X5-7800 or X7-7500, depending upon your preferred LCD screen size.
If you prefer a larger, more well-known company, Dell also makes some gaming laptops... The XPS M1710 is awesome but expensive. The Inspiron E1705 can be upgraded to a GeForce Go 7900GS video chipset, which probably makes it the best bang-for-the-buck deal from Dell.
I'd stay far, far away from Sony VAIOs.

When price isn't an issue, Alienware is probably every gamer's dream rig.
The Alienware Sentia m3450 is 14-inch, but has a poor graphics card (stay away from the Intel GPUs). However, it's at a pretty good price.
The Area-51 m5550 is a step up, but seems like it will age quickly.
The Aurora m9700 would be my choice, especially with the Dual GeForce 7900 GS (for a total of 1 GB Video Memory)
The Aurora mALX looks nice, but it doesn't justify the price in my opinion. Too much glitter compared to the substance.

14"? What are you going to play? Pacman?
14" laptop for gaming is an oxymoron.

Sony Vaio makes some smaller laptop pcs. They also come with decent graphics capabilities.
