as a torrent file you have to open it for it to connect to the torrent server then it downloads the full file. just double click on the torrent file. it should start downloading via the torrent portal.

It's outlawed to obtain copyrighted torrents and enter into trouble. My partner and i suggest having a VPN service whenever getting torrents. I'm using http://www.vpnmaster.org theypermit torrents on the European servers.

It ain't a movie...what you have to do is to download a BitTorrent client like uTorrent (www.utorrent.com) and download the movie from the torrent file using the client.

You probably need the right codec, which you can find with a utility called "GSpot" (yes, I'm serious - http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ )

Easier though, would be to download and install VLC. That seems to be able to play *anything*!
