Children shouldn't be having children, no doubt about that. Unfortunately, there are a lot of teen pregnancies out there. I think if they take responsibility for their actions and work hard, they can become good parents. I know some teen parents, and they are good parents. They just had to grow up rather quickly, though.

By themselves, with no help and guidance
from their parents and friends very few young people
are naturally great parents.
No matter what age we are parenthood can be an overwhelming experience.

If it should happen,
and you have support from your family,
and the support of your friends
or both
then you have a chance.

Age does not make a good parent,
commitment and patience
are a great place to start.
Add self sacrifice, devotion, discipline and love
and you have the emotional tools you need.

Add many nights without sleep,
many more days and nights of worry
and finally
many, many moments of ecstatic joy and
you have a beginning at parenthood.

I started late, 35 years old,
but I would not trade it for anything.
I work with people younger than me
with grown kids and many grand kids.
There is no perfect age to have kids.

Good luck and
May God Bless

Some of them do, if they want to have a child. But not many people under 18 actually want children.

Sort of. I babysit my cousins son she had him at 15. She takes care of him buys him lots of material things, necessities and whatnot. He's pretty well taken care of. She has a job (now she's 17) and lives with distant cousins because her parents and other family won't accept her. I think SOME of them are good parents she has been through alot in her lifetime and she doesn't want her son to go through the same that's why she takes care of him so well.

forget about it
they still need parents themselves

people who have kids late ,like after 40 make good parents
they are relaxed
have less financial problems
are more settled
have less arguments
wiser
etc.

Not me...even though many teens think they're mature enough to handle parenthood, they're really not.

I think if I actually was put in that position I would cope. It would be scary but I think I could do it. But by choice, I wouldn't be so stupid.
