Goverment should make a good and quick decession about the voilence spreading in Rajasthan for the reservation by a group, because if no quick decession is taken this will turn in the biggest war between two castes soon.
Why there is so concern for reservation? Why goverment is quite?

IT IS ONLY VOTE POLITICS OF OUR LEADERS. NOW IT IS THE BEST TIME TO RECONSIDER THE LIST SC,ST AND OBC. THIS THINGS HAVE CREATED BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TWO MAGER CASTS OF RAJSTHAN THAT GUJAR AND MEENA.
I THINK RESERVATION POLICY WOULD BE CHANGED AND IT SHOULD BE BASED ON THE GROUND OF THE ECONOMIC CONDITION OF THE PERSON NOT CAST BASIS.
IT WILL HELP TO FILL THE DIFFERNCES BETWEEN CASTS.

The violence in Rajasthan could have been averted if the state Government could have talked with the agitated Gujjars.

There are similar incidents as for example in Tamilnadu. They could have adopted what was done in Tamilnadu for MBC'S.

Instead, Meenas were instigated against there own people of the state.

Quota is implemented to bring up those who were deprived of education and for the upliftment of the people who were left behind in the social stratum.

which means Gujjars should also be lifted up and not suppressed by instigating rivalry between the two castes.

gujjars are a very strong but economically depressed class.Meenas too have suffered the economic depression for about 700 years when they fought guerilla wars against the Rajputs. But after the independence the situation has considerably changed and Meenas now are present in almost all of the government services in significant numbers.Gujjars did not get this luxury of reservation and have now realised there problems. Thus they have started this violence. The gujjars demands are just as the currently ruling BJP government had promised them a ST status but did not stood up to their promises.

Thanks to the stratified social set up of Hindus in India. many communities belong to the so called "depressed classes", neglected and deprived of their rights, for centuries! If they are to join the mainstream, they have to compete with the priviliged classes.Hence, they have to be treated as "handicapped" and reservations be made for them. The dalits were the worst sufferers. In the constitution of India, reservation has been provided to the SCs and STs. Now they haveproved that they too could play the ball game. Intelligence is not the monopoly of any group. It belongs to the individual only. Reservations in India are bound to continue for some more years. What the state has to ensure is that politicians do not try to gain political mileage from such situations.

Nothing, except that there exists discriminations and in equalities, on the basis of religions, communities, castes and creeds in our country, inspite of 60 years of Independence.
We achieved nothing by obtaining freedom from Britishers.
Still there exists two clasess: RICH & Poor and few rich are enjoying and ruling the country and the masses poor are suffering. Reservation problem will be solved only when economic in equalities are removed totally, from our society.

New Delhi, May 30 (IANS) The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) Wednesday demanded a judicial probe into violence in Rajasthan where at least 14 people were killed Tuesday after police fired on agitating members of the Gujjar community.

Terming the flare-up as yet another example of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government’s brutal record of repression, the party politburo said: “The failure of the government to deal with the matter politically has led to the violence and the needless deaths in police firing.”

Gujjars had blocked national highways to press their demand for the scheduled tribe status for the community, so that they are given benefits of government sops and reservation in education and jobs.

Police clashed with the agitators in Bundi and Patauli near Dausa and fired at mobs, leading to the killing of 14 people including two policemen.

“The BJP government headed by Vasundhara Raje has become notorious for its heavy-handed police repression on popular movements. The kisan movement faced brutal repression and six people were killed,” the politburo said referring to the police violence on farmers who were agitating for drinking water last year.

“The BJP leadership, which hypocritically tried to exploit the Nandigram incident should take strong action against its state government,” the CPI-M said.

The main opposition BJP had stalled proceedings in both houses of parliament during the recently concluded budget session demanding the dismissal of the CPI-M-led government in West Bengal, after 14 people had been killed in police firing in Nandigram area March 14.

The politburo demanded that the Rajasthan government should order a judicial enquiry into the incidents of violence and pay adequate compensation to the families of those killed.
