the earth is one whole atom, made out of million upon millions of tiny atoms. the earth is an atom which makes up another universe.
please anyone add to this, put your thoughts into this etc, thanks.

It's interesting how that which makes up the universe in the smallest form is represented similarly in a much larger form. The atoms and their electron shells are very much like the sun with its planets. Even a molecule which is numerous suns with electrons, is like the binary stars which, come to find, in probably more common than our single star. When we finally understand our universe in a physics sense and have the true grasp on a "Unified Theory" this will all seem so very elegant and beautiful.

If a single apple were enlarged so that each atom in that apple equaled the size of an apple, then the original apple would be the size of the earth.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but atoms don't look like little Earths, with electrons as moons. This is just a graphic representation to make it easier to explain to students.
