I know this is about a week old, but I dont get to watch that much daytime television,,,,,I want to know what everybody thinks!! I cant believe they are still talking about it after all this time...so I guess it must be better than I thought!!!!!!! I am totally on Rosie's side no matter what......Elizabeth is annoying,.,,and she isnt all that!!! I dont think she knows who she is messing with!!!!! Even Donald Trump or whoever is taking up for Rosie.,,,event though they got into it!!!!
I will never watch the view again now.... I think it will eventually get rid of Elizabeth,,,,,,,she is not a SURVIVOR!!!! What do you think?

First, Lisa Ling was not fired.....and I don't think Elisabeth will be either. And, you're right about her being annoying. lol
In spite of everything bad said about Rosie, there's good in everyone. She did a lot for Broadway and continues to do so even after her own show folded. (She produced one.)
She brought high ratings to the View and since she left, I think people tune in just to see who the guest host is (like me) and then I don't listen to their jibber-jabber.

I used to watch it a little bit as I was doing morning chores or things like that, but not anymore. Honestly, the reason is Elizabeth. She is ignorant and naive but thinks she is so well-informed about all things political. I couldn't care less about the show anymore.

I think hiring and using Rosie O'Donnell was like putting a mentally retarded person on TV just to make fun of them. A lot of people will tune in to watch an idiot being stupid. I feel sad for anyone who lacks the knowledge to see where Rosie would state wrong things. But "dog biting man" doesn't bring in the ratings as much as a "man biting a dog".
Rosie was a circus act that wound up embarrassing Walters and I fully expect her to start writing in her blog bad things about Walters although she promised Barbara that she would never, ever, do so.
Elizabeth ROCKS and is a real person.

I hate the View because they all talk at once and you can't understand what they are saying.

If Elizabeth is fired, she will be the third young panelist to leave the show. The other two are Debbie Matenopoulos and Lisa Ling. Barbara Walters seems threatened by much younger and attractive women on the show.

As much as i can't stand Rosie, she was right. i realy dont like her though she's fake in my opinion. I still watched the view because of Joy and Elisabeth (tho i never realy agree with anything she has to say) I like the hot topics and guests. I will continue watching The View and am glad they stopped looking for the "token black chic" they should bring back Star or quickly find 2 more replacements (both of either black, hipanic, asian, or indian decent it just looks and flows better to me).

I hardly watch the show in all the years that it has been on the air but when I have watched I have not been very impressed.
