It can be, but needs working on. You will find some guidelines in Paul's 1st. letter to the Christians in Corinth, chapter 13 (verses 4-7) which is frequently read at Marriage Services, and so often forgotten. Words he uses elsewhere include, "long -suffering, kindness, goodness and faithfulness". Always be the one to quickly patch up a quarrel, even if it wasn't your fault. Only twice did I reduce my beautiful wife to tears, and I couldn't wait to get my arms around her and say, "Sorry". We were in our 70's, and she was my 2nd. wife after 3 years of widowhood, and I'd learnt so much from the 1st.

No, there are tow different t types of love. False love, and true love. False love you have all of the same feelings as you would in true love, but just not taking it seriously. But true love, you really care about this person. And you are willing to spend the rest of your life with them.

Yep. Married 27 years...and our love has been strengthened as our friendship and respect for each other continues to grow.
Hope you find it, too.
