Its a relatively new item its called "The Towel".. try a swifter vacuum.

I have a VERY large dog that sheds and the floors have always been an issue. I bought a small lightweight vacuum...Eureka The Boss Super Lite" It is bagless . Very small light weight vacuum. It works great picking up hair and even sand. I bought it at K Mart for about $35.00 , one of the best buys I ever made. hope this helps.

vaccum. don't use the upright part, use the attatchments to suck it up and then it won't spread aroung the house.
