Lone Star, you have asked the billion dollar question.
The truth is, even an honest answer to this question could get very close to racism as defined by some...........
I was raised in a racist household of the ‘50s. My parents were southern born and bred. If the first two words I ever spoke were “ma-ma” and “da-da”, the third word was surely the “N” word. Though very young 8, 9, and 10, as the civil rights movement gained momentum, my perspective was from a skewed view of humanity, and I remember it well. I am thankful that my parents were able to let go of that before they met the Maker, who is colorless.
Racists. first.
They’re here forever. Only the number of them change, from time to time. But, their tactics remain the same. But in their assault, they are furnished ammunition by stereo-typical behavior, and ‘stereo-type’ is where the wanna be “ jus’ us black folks’ ” tap in.
Case in point: Rap artists hittin’ other rap artists.
How big would the headlines have been if they had read, “Frank Sinatra hit while leaving ‘Sands’ Show Room. Tony Bennett’s people were waiting!”?
As far as ‘acting black’:
The only way a ‘wanna be’ black person can do so is to perpetuate the stereo-type. Just as there is ‘passive aggressive’ behavior. this is passive racism. This is true because both you and I know a person is only white or black if they behave as either. It’s a whole lot easier to behave as a human being.
So, as far as the question goes, they both piss me off..........

Racists! I am almost half Native American and Caucasian. You can definitely see that I have "something" in my genes and people usually guess I'm Mexican. What really makes me mad is that it's usually low class people that dropped out of school in the sixth grade that think they are better than me. When they find out that I'm Indian they actually think that my family lives in a tee pee and shoot buffalo. There are no buffalo in California, where I was born and raised. None of these people have ever pretended to be Indian so I can't compare white people who think they are black with my background. If it drives you up the wall then it must be bad. I feel sorry for you but maybe you could think of it as a compliment. They see something in you that they like and want to copy it. Imitation is a supposed to be a form of flattery. Wonder who thought that one up?

I personally think racists of all colors fall into the same catagory.
Think about this for a moment..... You see kids playing on a playground. They only see other kids. They don't see them as being black, white, or anything else. They just play and get along.
It takes an adult to tell that child that there's something different, and in the case of racism, there is something "wrong".
Perhaps we adults need to take examples from the kids. We're all people, with alot to offer one another. And if we got into that frame of mind, racism would be dead and buried for good.
By the way, I'm white, if that matters.

I wouldn't say I think they are white people trying to be black I think I would classify it as more ganster wanna be or ghetto you never really though about it is what if that is just the way they are and who they are? I have had a couple of black girlfriends who were well in the same terms trying to be white but in all reality from what I know of them they aren't trying, that is just who they are, so which irks me more is by far racism, I hate ignorant people

White people who think they're black. Racists are just too stupid to take seriously, and so many people think they're scum.
But those white boys in their souped up Honda's have something to compensate for, that's for sure. And they cause a lot of trouble trying to compensate for it.

Racists.
The white kids who try to act like gangstas will outgrow the fad in a few years. Most racists never do.

Racists, kind of like when people discriminate against whites "who THINK they're black". You know, reminding everybody some more that they are not free of race and stereotypes b/c they must mention WHITE and BLACK all the time.

Racists defintely. "White people who think they are black" are just embracing a different culture. They are actually supportive of people of color while racists wanna do harm. Acceptance, even if they are trying to be trendy, is better than hate.
