a door open for others. I do and sometimes people let it shut on me

Yes, I always hold doors for people. Usually then a gentleman will eventually relieve me of the duty but sometimes if you notice, that if a woman opens a door for a person, an entire group of people will continue to go through the door as if you are a doorman (woman). Ha Ha!

I hear ya, girl. Yes, I hold doors for others. And it still surprises me every time someone lets it shut on me! They'll let it shut on older people or little kids? Such a shame. I need to find a civilized city and move my family to it. People are so rude. Obviously you were was raised by a family with good manners, not everyone was.

I sure do and sometimes a door gets shut on me, but I continue to be nice and help because the world needs it. I hope people catch on!

Hi, I do the same thing to and have had a lot of doors shut on me by rude people and they are even getting a lot more ruder.

I always hold the door open for the next person that's behind me, and a lot of the time, they won't even thank you, they just walk on in and keep going, just like it's your job, but it's OK because i expect the same treatment.But i always say THANK YOU.

I always hold the door for people just a little common courtesy some people are just pure ignorant and must have there head up there ***.
