I used to curse all the yardapes on the road, bunch of jackanapes who didn't know how to drive... but they just kept breedin'... so I learned to relax and enjoy driving regardless of the inevitable idiots.... now I am always smiling behind the wheel.

It's not a neither-nor situation.
I don't curse while driving, but I'm not happy n smiley.
I have this view that if the other person is doing something annoying (usually driving too slowly), it's because I'm being prevented from an accident, so I've learned to accept other drivers and trust there's a possibility that what might make me angry, is actually saving my life.
Corny, but true....
Also, I figure, maybe that person has a radar detector....and I get kind of grateful, instead of rageful....

A little of both..I start a trip out happy and smiling..but I am usually cursing all the idiots out their before I get to where I am going.....

when driving my bicycle, because that is what i drive, i am usually intensley happy, until a driver of a car does something to piss me off...like try to run me over, or act as though, i am slowing them down....i say, why rush....i move slowly everyday on my bike...you can go slow for five minutes...absorb the scenery...why not?
