This was a 12 - 11 victory for Cleveland.
Detroit led throughout the game.
What a ballgame!!!! Any team could have won it.

All i can say is that right now Cleveland owns Detroit and that the tribe is one of the best hitting teams in the league and a team to look out for

were you watching the same ballgame that I was? Leyland made another managerial blunder by bringing "OH NO" Jones in to close. He made a similar blunder in another game when Zamaya threw 7 pitches in the 8th inning got the batters out 123 and then brought Jones in to blow the save and the game in the 9th inning. Anyone could have won the 12-11 gam4e? You must have had blinders on not to see Jones's ineptitude in critical situations. He can't strike anyone out allows way too many men on base, allowed a 3-run homer (that should have been enough to send him to the showers) but "OH NO" allows a double , a walk and a single after that. What is Leyland thinking? How many games are we going to see go astray by Jones and his inefectiveness and Leyland"s managerial mistakes.

This proves that Cleveland can beat and team and any pitcher at any given time. This team is just highly explosive. I don't know how many 5 run innings I have seen them put up on teams this year--but it's alot. No bullpen, no closer is safe. The fact that Cleveland is 14-2 vs Chicago,Detroit and the Twins should scare the hell out of the rest of the Central. They play with alot of fire and are building more confidence as the season goes on.

Tribe, World Series Champs 2007!!!! Ok, maybe that's a little premature, but you have to admit they have something special going on this year. It feels like the late 90's again when they were never out of a game because their offense could go off anytime like they did last night. They also have better pitching than in those days too. As a Cleveland fan I am excited about this season. The last three series were going to be a test, but so far we've swept, went 1-2 against the BoSox with their two best starters against two of our starters who are struggling (and we were still in it in the 9th, so I'm fine with that. You can't win them all) and we won when one of our top pitchers threw, and so far we've taken the first two from Detroit in style. I can't wait till Hafner gets going. GO TRIBE

I went to bed after there was one out in the bottom of the 9th. I was happily shocked when I found out this morning, the Indians had won

Downtown Cleveland will be truly rocking tonight when the Cavs beat the Pistons for the Eastern Conference championship and the Indians triumph over the Tigers to extend their lead in the AL Central.

Too much scoring for my taste...I like a low scoring hour in a half pitchers duel. Like the White Sox - Blue Jays game Thursday night.

I think the Tigers did good, but the Indians won...it was still a good game.

I was sitting behind home plate for that game... completely lost my voice.
It was the loudest I've seen Jacobs field in many years.
i even called that we would pull through in the ninth, ( I told my friend we would after the 8th because he said we would fall one short, but i had a good feeling)

DETROIT SUCKS ( i started that chant after the game, we got most of the people behind home plate to scream it)

Terrible I hate the Indians. Havn't won a WS since the 1940s? and probably won't win another one til way after the 2040s if ever.
The only time I ever cheered for the Indians is when Willie Mays Hayes ran their fictional basepaths!
