Newsweek has declared Gore a 'EcoSavant' though I'm not quite sure why. I go to his website and find not one scientific award or, even a scientific review, only accolades from Hollywood and the press.

It seems that the liberal media along with the libs, are once more allowing Hollywood celebrities to determine what is true.

It's so reminiscent of how the libs let the cast of SNL convince them our current president was an idiot. (I wonder if SNL received a Hollywood award that year.) Do you think they have a right to be upset with what they mistook as a legitimate portrayal of Bush's mental capacities?

Especially now, when it's becoming hard to deny and more and more obvious that we actually have a PoliSavant in the White House?

True, our PoliSavant recently said that Global Warming is legit, but it shouldn't be mistaken for an endorsement of Gore's gross exaggerations.

It appears they've done it in both these situations. I'm sure I could think of more.

I deleted my first question and changed the lead-in question to appease Ervin but he wasn't appeased.

There are all kinds of scientific awards and reviews to be given and he hasn't picked up a one. Or, at least if he did pick up a review from a scientific publication, he chose not to put it on his website. Must not of been very positive.

It is the Neo-cons who have taken the cake when it comes to juxtaposing truth with fiction!

Every premise they blindly embraced when they moved forward in attacking Iraq has been completely discredited!

Hollywood is a creature of the Arts, but science and art are often closely related anyway.

Reagan came from Hollywood, but he espoused an economic approach to our government that was steeped in the economic theories of certain scholars in economics like Milton Friedman.

Reagan implemented the same economic stimulating and deficit reducing tax cuts that John F. Kennedy successfully implemented until Johnson came along and cranked up an inflation ridden war in Vietnam.

If JFK were alive today, his policies would be viewed as those of a hawkish moderate Republican.

To look past Reagan and Kennedy in order to study Friedman and Galbraith is the right way to approach the economic science and theory behind the political policies both presidents advocated.

We must also look past Gore in order to study the earth science and theory behind the political policies Gore Advocates.

I'm sure Gore cites many names within the scientific community.

When these scientists were testifying before the Senatorial and House Committees, there were plenty of Republicans versed in science who also expressed deep concerns about the looming effects of global climate change due to global warming.

the Liberal Media, LOL

The biggest lie fed the American people by conservative pundits is that the United States is dominated by the ‘liberal media.’ As if Rupert Murdoch, Disney, General Electric, Time-Warner AOL and Viacom are owned and operated by liberals.

Not only are these folks ultra-conservatives, but the people they hire to voice their opinions are so far to the right, they give independent journalism a dirty name. No, my friends, the corporate media is in the hands of right-wing kooks parading as moderates and pushing the political envelope further and further to the right.

If there is in fact a liberal media, it sure has been taking a lot of time off.

Where was it during the Clinton years? Long before Monica, the press went after the Democratic, supposedly liberal president with a vengeance that took even longtime Washington observers -- many of them Republican -- by surprise.

Where was it during Clinton's alleged runway haircut fiasco early in his first term? Or the supposed destruction of the White House by departing Clinton staffers? Both stories, widely reported as fact, have since been convincingly rebuked.

If the media is so Liberal why did the N.Y. Times, Washington Post and all of Corporate Cable "News" Channels act as a megaphone for the Bush administrations' lies about Iraq's non-exsistant WMDs and ties to 9/11?

I would say that to deny global warming while putting polar bears on the endangered species list because they are no longer able to swim from iceberg to iceberg would be a sign of stupid. And yes he did do that while denying global warming. I would also say that going against the CIA and saying there were terrorists in Iraq before we got there and that the CIA (you know, the people who gather and analyze the information given to the president) is just not as informed as he is (after all, God told him it was so) is also a sign of stupid. If he is a savant it is only in his genius at making no sense at all and still being believed by neo-cons.

How many times you going to try and dump on liberals with the same question.

I know for a FACT that Fox News confuse fiction for fact.

Bush is an idiot! He will always be an idiot. He probably has too many brain cells burned by hitting the old bottle, which he is still doing!

When are conservatives going to admit they are the largest group of welfare recipients in the United States. And the ones that commit the most fraud!

They create their own truth from fiction , yes. They are leeches that latch on to false beliefs and spread them around like wildfire for the morons to see as truth. They are so silly and thoughtless those Libs. But Conservatives will have the last laugh in 08 and SNL aint funny so it will not appear on that show that is about as funny as my hemmoroid!

Wow, this post was an eye opener! Amazing that Saturday Night Live is in a conspiracy with Al Gore to fool Bush into believing in global warming so that they can make hilarious comedic sketches about the topic.

Excuse me but didn't Bush and his party go to Iraq on the pretense of WWDs that we are still waiting to miraculously appear now that's confusing fact with fiction or if your prefer blatant propaganda.
