Do a google search for "free (whatever you are looking for) ie. free utilities or free internet tv, free software etc.

Just watch out not all that pops up is free even though it says it is. Also sometimes when you download free software you also download spyware, viruses etc. with the download just beware. You may give a couple of sites a try like nonags.com or tucows.com they offer all kinds of software for just about any need.

Good luck and happy hunting, Roy

That's very broad question... when it comes to free anything on line. As the obvious point out there are the "easy" sites to get basic use of say for example a software. Often refer to as "shareware". That's a no brainier. But what prey tail do you seek for free? Perhaps a movie that's currently playing in the theater,or maybe a hard to find and expensive program, No maybe the newest album from your favorite artist?
The answer is: "Yes"
"Where you ask"? Well there's answer for that too. But if I just tell you where, its like telling someone to take a drivers test with out reading the book. You need to learn about: "Bit Torrent files".
For those who take the time to read and learn all there is about that file system, the Internet is an open oyster of bountiful gifts of your hearts desire! LOL.
But seriously go to this site to learn this "P2P" platform : http://www.slyck.com/bt.php
Read over the other guides like "Newsgroups" on how that work too. Take your time there a lot of info. Learn it its worth it , belive me. The slyck guides show and teach you very thing you need know to find everything you want for free. Good luck!
