Why even ask that Question when you've already taken four. Didn't your ( friend ) give you any idea what those pills are like? What a friend. Next time Ask before you take something that your not sure about.

Good lord! Don't take 15. The guy that said that could weigh more then you and certainly has a different metabolism. Also he may have had pills with a lower dosage than what you got. I wouldn't take any more than the four you took. My brothers best friend died from an over dose of Vicadin.

First of all you should never take medicine that belongs to someone else. Vicodan is a highly addictive narcotic. Four pills in the last hour is not a good thing. I would suggest if your spasms are that bad and you have taken that many pills you should go immediately to the nearest Emergency Room. Oh yes...don't drive, have someone take you!!

It takes time for any medication to kick in . Four in one Hour is STUPID. You should be totally numb for 4 to 6 hours.

I take one to one and a half 4 times daily and they take 45 min to an hour to start working for me.

So is ignorance bliss? Oh wait you will not know for the rest of the day.

I have one suggestion....
Do not take them anymore, go see a doctor. Firstly, I HAVE to take painkillers and many other medications for chronic pain and maintenance of my disease and secondly my brother in-law died from an overdose (not by slipping away quietly in his sleep either) he died by suffocating to death on his pillow and his own vomit. Do not take things like this if they were not prescribed to you. A doctor can prescribe you a combination of painkillers and/or muscle relaxers to help you; you don't even know if these Vicodin are even good still or if they are even Vicodin.

Again, go see your doctor who has a license to prescribe you the right combination of medication to treat your ailment.

BTW: Whatever you do, DO NOT listen to James F he doesn't know what he is talking about. There are too many factors to explain away what he told you, but trust me what he told you is bunk.

Well Ron, I used to eat' em by the boat load and I'm sure I didn't do my liver any favors but I'm still alive. I used to take up to 15 at a time. On an empty stomach you can feel the effects in like 25 minutes. Full stomach 40-45. Gauge yourself and if they don't work, don't be afraid to ask your doctor for something that will.

the most you are supposed to take is two of 500mg, once every 4 to 6 hours. you just over dosed, you might be tweaked. they take about 30 to 60 minutes to feel a reaction. don't take anymore.

Omg what kinds are they? If there 1000mg or 10s your proboly in for a shitty night. If they are I reccomend you make yourself go throw up cause your going to be feeling very sick shortly if your new to the drug.
