I always thought they were the same thing, until I Wikipedia'd it and they were too seperate entities and I didn't comprehend the scientific jargon of a cyclone to tell if it actually was a tornado or not. Haha, any help is appreciated!

A cyclone is another name for a Hurricane. Hurricanes in the Atlantic - Cyclones in the pacific - but they are both VERY large storm systems.

A Tornado on the other hand is spawned from One super cell storm and can be as small as only a few metres wide. They are rated by the amount of destructive damage they do (force 1) up to large Tornadoes more than a mile wide which if they cause death are rated at a force 5..

A cyclone is the same as a hurricane. It is a large scale weather system that forms over water. A tornado is a much smaller and shorter lived entity and it usually forms over land. However, a tornado's winds could be as strong as any hurricane.

A cyclone is the name generally given to a hurricane in the souther hemisphere. It is a tropical depression which causes a large rotating storm system.

A tornado is a local phenomenon that can occur almost anywhere on Earth (except near the equator) in the right conditions - a thunder storm with supercells causing violent updrafts.
