Yes, it is. Obviously no ducks are harmed in the production of Duck Tape. The downy feathers of mature adult ducks secrete an oily substance which is applied to the grey side of the the duck tape which prevents the strongly adhesive white side from sticking. Hence the name DUCT TAPE.

No duck tape is made for catching ducks. Just put out the Duck tape and dem ducks just swim rat up to dey Duck tape and get stuck.
However "Duct Tape" is made from "Ducts"

The genuine article is called' Duck tape'!
It's made by the Solvite company!
No it's not made out of duck's.
It's a cloth ribbed tape exceptionally strong for binding,fixing,sealing!
It's available in genuine hardware stores like the 'CLAN STORES'.
