I do not attach my self-esteem to recognition. Nor am I upset when some pathetic coward follows my answers around with a "thumbs down". I own my power. I share it willingly with those who have something to offer for it. Simple respect and acceptance is enough for me. Those who choose to know me are welcome. Those who do not are bid farewell. I am not dependent on being heard for validation. It is welcome, but not necessary for my "existence"...

I mean no disrespect, but your question really doesn't make sense. Either you are asking if someone would kill them selves for fame, or you aren't. Which is it?
